On the afternoon of 9th March, spring is evident everywhere, showcasing a radiant and enchanting spring scene. The Outward Bound Training Base of Hong Cheng Education welcomed her first guests this year--200 teachers and students from Grade 5 of Double-Lotus Temple Elementary School in Ying Jiang District.
To begin with, at the Lecture Hall, students conducted a brief interaction with the host before the event. They clapped their hands and beat time with the base slogan ‘I Do It, I Am Happy, I Play Sports and I Am healthy’, which immediately warmed the atmosphere.
Afterwards, foreign teachers from Anqing Foreign Language School interacted with students and led them to call out the base slogan in the English version ‘I Do It, I Am Happy, I Play Sports and I Am Healthy’. Therefore, students demonstrated immense enthusiasm and the Lecture Hall rang with thunderous cheers and applause in the meantime.
In addition, 200 teachers and students proceeded both the indoor and outdoor experiential activities. Considering that this year’s candidate number was huge, the outdoor extending activities went hand in hand with the indoor production program. More specifically, 100 students conducted the outward bound training while 100 others were supposed to complete their indoor production project. After 45 minutes, students from both sides switched their positions to experience this fantastic training, which not only took full advantage of the limited time but also made certain to the greatest extent that each child would benefit a lot to their heart’s content.
To sum up, with the conclusion of the marvelous event, students longed for more with great interest. Also, they were somewhat unwilling to part with a little regret and yearning in that they all looked forward to returning.
